Why buy directly from the producer
Supermarket olive oil is often a blend of oils from multiple countries (Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Greece) bottled in Italy. When you buy from a real Italian farm:
- You know exactly where the olives grew (our farm is in Circello, Benevento, Italy)
- You know who picked them and when
- You pay for the oil, not for marketing layers
- You support real Italian agriculture, not industrial brands
What makes Sannio olive oil special
The Sannio region (inland Campania, around Benevento) is one of Italy's oldest olive-growing areas. Hilltop groves between 300 and 700 m above sea level, calcareous soils, large day-night temperature swings: this is what gives our oils intense aromas, high polyphenol content, and unusual longevity.
We grow three native varieties: Ortice (intense, peppery), Leccino (balanced, versatile), Monicella (elegant, persistent).
Our process: from grove to bottle
Hand-picked when olives reach perfect ripeness. To the mill within hours. Cold extraction below 27°C (80°F). Light filtration. Bottled in dark glass to protect from light.
Bioagricert organic certified for over 20 years. Every bottle is traceable: lot number, harvest date, variety.
